Biographies of Board Directors

Ronald Yarham, Chairman
Chairman Yarham is the Deputy Reeve, Division 3, (Ryley/Holden) for Beaver County, and has been Chair since November 2013. He is a third term County Councillor.Ron is a Master Electrician, and is active in several community organizations including: Member-at-large for the Beaver County Seed Cleaning Co-op, Director with Ankerton Gas Co-op, and President of the Alberta Shorthorn Association.Ron is married with four children and six grandchildren.
Brian Ducherer, Vice-Chairman
Vice Chairman Ducherer has been the Vice Chairman of BMS since October, 2013. Brian is the Mayor of the Village of Ryley and is in his second term as Village Councillor.Brian has retired from the Railroad after 37 years of which 32 has been in management at various levels, including a senior manager for 450 employees and a 28 million dollar budget. Brian now works in construction for Innovate Building Systems in Vegreville. Brian is an avid volunteer in the Village of Ryley and also a volunteer at the Edmonton Folk Festival.Brian has three daughters and four grandchildren.
Harold Conquest, B.Ed., B.Sc.
Director Conquest is the Mayor of the Town of Tofield, and the Chair of the Beaver Foundation (Seniors Housing). This is his fourth term on Town Council (first as Mayor).Harold is a retired school teacher. He is married with two children and four grandchildren.
Bernie Marko
Bernie represents the Village of Holden on the BMS board, and has been a councillor in Holden since 1989, serving his community for over 25 years.
Jason Ritchie
Director Ritchie is a councillor for the Town of Viking. In addition to representing Viking on the board of Beaver Municipal Solutions, Jason is working with others in the community to form the Viking Business and Economic Development Association.Jason graduated with a Management Studies Diploma from MacEwan University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.Jason, along with his wife, has owned and operated Ritchie’s Painting since 2007.He is looking forward to serving his first term as town councillor and director for BMS.
Pierre Breau, P. Eng. –  General Manager
Pierre is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years experience in the municipal and private sector, including 20 years as a municipal director of engineering and public works in the Maritime provinces. Pierre has overseen the design, construction and operations management of a great variety of public works infrastructure including national and provincial award-winning solid waste management and wastewater management facilities. A native of New Brunswick, Pierre is fluently bilingual, and received his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from McGill University, Montreal. Pierre is married to Dr. Lynn M. Breau, and together have two grown children. Pierre joined Beaver Municipal Solutions as CAO/GM in August 2011. Pierre is energized by the opportunities available to Beaver Municipal Solutions in the Alberta and western Canada marketplace, and is committed to working with the Board in providing innovative waste management solutions to municipal stakeholders and customers.
Juvy2 Juvy Ceniza, CPA/CMA – Chief Financial Officer
Juvy joined Beaver Municipal Solutions in 2014. Prior to joining BMS, Juvy worked in different areas of finance for over 20 years in diverse industries in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She has extensive experience in managing the overall finance and administration function, supporting the organization’s strategic direction,  engaging stakeholders on prudent financial management and promoting continuous improvement. Juvy holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Aaron Hills, C.E.T. – Vice-President, Operations
Aaron has over 15 years of project management experience in the environmental, agricultural and community sectors. Through this time he has served private business, commercial customers, municipal and government agencies. He has served as a project manager for a range of environmental and solid waste projects that have included environmental site assessments, enviromental audits, environmental monitoring programs, contaminated site remediation projects, composting and the design and implementation of numerous integrated waste management systems. Aaron graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1996 with an Honours Diploma from the Environmental Science Technology program. During his years at NAIT, he also played on the NAIT Ooks men’s hockey team, winning the National Championship in 1996. He is certified with Alberta Environment as a Licensed Landfill Operator as well as a Licensed Compost Facility Operator and holds several Health and Safety Training Certifications.
