Payment At Our Sites

We would like to remind residents that during the COVID-19 pandemic we are no longer taking cash as payment at any of our transfer stations or the landfill. Payment can be made by debit, credit, or cheque. This is a small thing we are doing to try and limit unnecessary exposure to the virus. We thank you for your co-operation.

First Ag Bags Leave For Recycling

Beaver Municipal Solutions is one of the 20 collection locations for the Alberta Ag-Plastic Recycle It! pilot program. We recently collected our first full load of grain bags which was sent off to be recycled. Thank you for recycling and taking part in this new program.
We have been receiving quite a few unrolled and hand-rolled bags, which are not recyclable under the program. Please ensure all bags are machine rolled and tied securely. The grain bags must stay secured so we can ship them to the recycler. Below you can see quite a few rolls that are not acceptable.

Grain bags drop-offs must be pre-scheduled and take place on Tuesdays. Please call 780.663.2038 and leave a message about scheduling a Tuesday drop-off.
